Feast Before Famine

Dinner for two,

A sunset stolen,

A walk to remember,

Swing sets of adolescence,

The fortress of a starry night,

Waves crashing,

Flittering autumn leaves.

Two midnight icicles.

Eight hours like a flash.

Fill my heart,

For I must hibernate,

For another twenty more years.
